I got to spend about an hour photographing Gilly Bean today! She's such a sweety, but holy cow that girl has energy! I think this is a shot of probably 2 out of 10 seconds she was still. I love that you can see the bridge and parts of the park in the back and the ruffles of her shirt. So many good shots to edit from this one!

Welcome Gavin! This little man is 8 days old today and I got to go over to do a photoshoot for him. Poor guy had a terrible bout of heartburn or acid reflux when we were finishing up so we didn't get as many shots as usual, but we certainly got some great ones! This one is one of my favorites, I love this new hat I had made for a prop, its too darn cute!

Out on another neighborhood walk with miss L (me walk, her on her tryke). This house had this pretty cool stump in their garden, surrounded by flowers I thought it looked very sweet and summery.

Mr sun... sun... Mr Golden sun... please shine down on me! This is one of the beauties in a lovely garden in my neighborhood.

On my way home I took a detour and found these cool old mailboxes. I ran a process I did earlier in the year to give it a cool vintage look.

Happy Birthday Momma!! This picture was taken when Laurissa begged Grandma for her cherry that came on her birthday dessert. Grandma, as always, made L quite happy.

Spent dinner with wonderful friends, some of whom I haven't seen in years! We had a great time, and shame on me, I didn't get a group picture of us. I did however snap this shot for Miss Laurissa on the way out of the restaurant. She doesn't know this mall by its real name, but but by this big guy - a statue that's probably 15-12 feet tall - its the "horsey mall."

There is this house around the corner that has an amazing garden. For the last month these Black-Eyed Susans have been making about 20 feet of street look heavenly - they must have at least 8 giant bushes full of them.... there is a fence behind them where you can see colors galore - I'm sure they have a stunning English garden behind there... might have to take a peek sometime and share :)

How many kiddos can you count? Its birthday party day! Laurissa's birthday was at Seattle Gymnastics Academy and was a complete blast! The kids had a fun time in this giant foam put for around 15 minutes before heading to a big obstacle course and other activities. The party room was huge and we had such a good time with the kids running around in there between cupcakes and pizza (thats right... dessert first, not quite on purpose but that's alright :)

Miss Laurissa is getting some pink sparkly toes! Birthday celebrating isn't quite over yet and she got a little pampered for her birthday party tomorrow. Was a bit tricky for me to figure out how I was going to do gel toes on a little girl, this ended up being the best way without a doubt! iPad over the UV lamp playing Netflix kiddie show keeping her still during the whole process :) Regular polish stays for about 24 hours on her so we just don't even bother. This however should be good for weeks (if she leaves them alone!)

Maddy gave Laurissa this watercolor set and Monday we painted for a few hours and created lovely artwork - one will be framed for her room! Today it looks sad and dried out but ready for another go... probably next weekend.
