Today I went and did a family photoshoot for some friends of friends. The family was a great joy to work with an we had a great time even though I asked them to do crazy poses - like this - next time I'll have to set a faster shutter speed.

Yesterday my cousin, who I haven't seen in many years, came over with her husband and son to BBQ with us and have some family photos done. First day doing a twin shoot. These two precious boys are actually NOT twins but cousins born 3 days apart! Here Hudson is on the left and is 5 days old, Benjamin is on the right and 8 days old. Hudson looks smaller but they are actually VERY similar in size (like 2oz difference). Other pics will be able to be viewed on my photography facebook page later today. This is the only one where I caught a boy smiling so it makes the blog!

Miss L was getting in a habit of biting her friends. So we made this magnet board to offer rewards for being good at school. It was actually pretty fun to make with her and since we used magnets and patches it will last us years so I can use it for chores, homework or any other reward system we want to do it for. I can't believe she's such a big girl already to be doing sticker charts.

Wow its been in a whole week since I posted! No one is gonna look anymore if I keep slackin! I'll try to do MUCH better this week! On the plus side I had a TON Of fun photo days so I will have some nice pictures to share. Today its a picture of Mt Rainier. Its one of my favorite parts of summer, seeing the mountains. I loved the mountains surrounding Reno and Vegas when I lived there, I miss seeing the mountains right outside everyday.  Well that and lots of clear blue sky!

So upon removing boxes from my front porch, I found this green guy chillin on the wall. Its quite large for a tree frog, was a good 3-4 inches.  Freaked out L and she was "scared" of it, but sat by the door watching it for a good 10 minutes.

Today I got to see an old friend. This is Lyla. I had her since she was born and for 12 years. A few years ago circumstances arose and I needed to give her away. She's been taken care of by a nurse who happens to be on medical leave and is home with her all the time. The last few years she has aged a ton, but she is still a sweet little girl. And her she is with my little girl, last time they were together L was barely walking.

There was good reason this one is delayed. I needed to play with photoshop! L and I stayed home for the 4th and watched the fireworks all over the neighborhood. As you may know, fireworks in rarely have more than one good boom every few minutes to give time for lighting.
